MGS was sole sourced the design-build project of installing a brand new PV system, solar thermal system and desuperheater system. The project consisted of providing design, construction, permitting, commissioning and training for new photovoltaic system with a total output of approximately 12.5 kw(AC), a new solar thermal pool heating system of about 6,240 sq. ft. including a new carport support system of about 7,500 sq. ft. and a new 1M Btuh desuperheater system at Building 932. The project involved extensive underground duct bank, electrical manholes, underground horizontal direction drilling, concrete, asphalt, landscaping, solar panels, Solar Edge Plus Inverters, 16 Circuit String Combiner Boxes, circuit breakers, exterior lighting, transformers, switchgear, safety switches, surge protection, medium voltage cables, power panels, Veris Power Monitor Meters w/BACnet interface card, Delta Controls, Fuse Kits, Ethernet Switches, Raceways, Conductors, 600V Cable, Grounding Conductors, high pressure piping, HVAC equipment, DDC controls, insulation, electrical testing. MGS Received a Star Safety Excellence Award for this contract.
